What’s a Quarter Auction?

A quarter auction is a fun and interactive fundraising event where participants purchase numbered paddles and bid on donated items using quarters. The event typically features a variety of products from local vendors, including our exquisite Farmwicks products. During the auction, an emcee describes each item up for bid and announces the number of quarters required for participation. Attendees can choose to bid on items that interest them by placing the required number of quarters in a bowl, adding an element of suspense and excitement. The winning bidder for each item is then chosen through a random number draw. With its lively atmosphere and potential for attendees to win coveted items at a fraction of their retail value, a quarter auction offers a delightful way for our scent enthusiasts to enjoy an evening of fun and camaraderie while supporting a charitable cause.
